Cafe Rio Barbacoa

So, I’m trying out a recipe right now that we may be serving this Sunday at our monthly sibling dinner. The recipe can be found at heidikins.com. I’ll let you know how it turns out. For now, I’m a little worried, because I’m only making about a pound of pork loin, instead of the 7 pounds the recipe calls for, and I had to seriously fudge the quantity ratios. Oh well. I’ll let y’all know.

I’m excited to hear how this turns out! I am actually making Cafe Rio for my family for Thanksgiving (or rather, one of the Thanksgiving Dinners) this year. I actually only used about 5 lbs of pork, and it was divine. I’m sure your tweaking will turn out divine.

i have a cafe rio recipe from a friend. i think it’s pretty close to the real thing. i’ll send it your way if you want it. how did the stuff turn out anyway?

Okay, so, you’re right, there’s several things I need to cover. Maybe I’ll get some rapid-fire blogging in tonight to cover it all. But, to answer your question, the recipe turned out great
